The Perfect Bike

We went to Grandma and Gramps' this weekend to move some of our stuff to their house for storage. While we were taking things to the attic, Samuel started playing with an old bike that Grandma had bought for Noah. Noah has since outgrown it and so she was thinking about getting rid of it. Samuel fell in love with it and had Adam pushing him all around the driveway. Grandma told him he could have it and he was so excited.

When we got home that night, we were just going to leave it in the car because it was late and raining. Samuel cried so hard when we got in the house because he didn't have his bike that Adam went back and brought it in for him so he could ride around the living room. Samuel looked at it, and was naming all the parts for us--handlebars, pedals, tires, etc. Adam asked him if he liked his bike and he said, "I love my bike. It's perfect. Grandma gave to me."

Potty Training Funny

Samuel is doing a great job potty training and as long as we are at home, he usually doesn't have any accidents. He's going through an independent phase and wants to be able to potty all by himself. He can't yet because he's still learning how to pull his pants up and down. The other day, I was in cleaning up the kitchen and all of a sudden I heard music from the bathroom (we have a musical potty). I was suprised because he had never gone without telling me. I went to the bathroom to tell him he did a great job. He saw me coming and got so excited. He said, "Look Mommy, I went on the potty" The only problem was, he didn't pull down his underwear! I gave him chocolate anyway because he had tried so hard then called Adam at work so he could laugh with me.
