PreK - Week 8

It seems like it has taken us forever to finish this "week" of school. We had to take several days off because Samuel was sick off and on, but we are finally finished with it.

This week we have been reading some of the parables that Jesus told - how the wise man built his house on rock not sand like the foolish man, the good Samaritan, the man who stored up his treasure on earth instead of heaven, and the parable of the lost sheep.

Samuel has also been working on his verses for Cubbies. He has been doing a great job saying them each week!

We have been working on writing uppercase R this week. Samuel has also been reviewing some of his Hooked on Phonics books. We will be starting his new Red HOP workbook soon.

We've been reading stories and doing activities related to snakes and reptiles this week. Samuel is definitely all boy and loves anything to do with snakes so he's had lots of fun this week!
