PreK - Week 9

This week we've been reading more stories about Jesus - the parable of the prodigal son, the parable of the feast where the invited guests didn't come so the host went out and brought in others from the street, and about Jesus' anger in the temple. Samuel loves it when we read our Bible story for the day and his teachers at church are amazed at how many of them he remembers. We've been working on writing lowercase a this week also. Samuel is doing pretty well with his handwriting. I just can't get him to understand that the letters are supposed to go between the lines on the paper. He wants to just write them in random places. He started his next Hooked on Phonics workbook and read the first story in it so far. He has been doing a great job reading! This week we have been learning about the four seasons and have done crafts and activities related to them.
